There’s no particular reason for this. I guess you could say this is another hiatus? I don’t know. It’s kind of been like that for a few weeks already, haha. So I guess this might be some sort of memory archive for me. I’ll probably come back to this in a while, but you never know. I just want to say it’s been a pleasure to blog with you all, what with our fandoms and whatnot. You’ve been so gracious to me, and on occasion, some of you have saved my life without even knowing it. I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you. I’ll miss you all if I don’t come back. Blah blah blah I’m being dramatic it’s just a blog you don’t care I know I know I know. Still.
Thanks.
See you later maybe.

King said in an interview that this photograph was taken as he tried to explain to his daughter Yolanda why she could not go to Funtown, a whites-only amusement park in Atlanta. King claims to have been tongue-tied when speaking to her. “One of the most painful experiences I have ever faced was to see her tears when I told her Funtown was closed to colored children, for I realized the first dark cloud of inferiority had floated into her little mental sky.”
Just something to contemplate on this MLK Day weekend.
